From the moment you enter the massive railway sleeper doors, you know you are in one of Sydney’s most distinctive venues. 
Make your way through Danks Street Produce Merchants, a market place overflowing with a richness of produce to delight your senses – and your palate. 
And there in the hustle and bustle of the market, you’ll find Mezzanino Ristorante and bar, Sydney’s only market restaurant.
At lunch, chefs at Mezzanino use traditional family recipes and combine them with fresh, seasonal Australian produce, much of it from the nearby market floor, to create memorable, generous and flavoursome dishes. 
The Italian and Australian wines to accompany your food are selected by our chef and the restaurant manager Sal Quattroville. 
Breakfast can be  as simple as cannoli with coffee, or as delicious  as Truffle Eggs Florentine. Served with juice and Numero Uno Artisan Coffee.

Mezzanino, Sydney’s only ristorante marcato 

From the moment you enter the massive railway sleeper doors, you know you are in one of Sydney’s most distinctive venues. 

Make your way through Danks Street Produce Merchants, a market place overflowing with a richness of produce to delight your senses – and your palate. A glass encased lift takes you to a large, open, Mezzanine level for events and function bookings.  This room is surrounded by handcrafted windows, drenched in natural light, with high white ceilings and rustic Italian charm.

In the Italian culture, food is at the centre of every family occasion. The chefs at Mezzanino under Glenn Bowman our executive chef, use traditional family recipes and combine them with fresh, seasonal Australian produce, much of it from the markets below, to create memorable, generous and flavoursome dishes. 

At night, Mezzanino continues into a conference and event centre like no other in Sydney. We can tailor packages to meet your requirements, whether you are looking for sit down dinners for up to 150 people, team building pasta-making classes or a relaxed banquet style lunch for tables of 20. 

Our 500sq metre open plan Events layout allows flexibility for your needs, while the beautiful bones of the room require minimal effort to make a lasting impression.
